Have you ever dreamed of making a difference in a big way, of changing something significant, of doing something that no-one has done before?
There is an immense opportunity to be part of something extraordinary. Breaking boundaries and conventions, breaking world records, reaching millions of people with a unique spirit of conquering the final frontiers and inspiring a sense of adventure and infinite possibility.
This project is so vastly different from anything else you have ever been involved in before. It is a humanitarian project, which not only aims to make a difference, but a big one. And your support and involvement will take the project to the heights we know it can achieve.
There are so many ways to get involved and pledge your support. We would like to encourage conversation and interaction between the public and interest groups all over the world, from the mountaineering community and outdoor enthusiasts, the aviation industry and technology fraternity, the media, the travel industry, local and global business, humanitarian interest groups and the medical society to the man on the street and his family.
As a volunteer we can offer you hard but immensely rewarding work, as a corporate supporter; publicity and international recognition. We also have various sponsorship packages available. The Trust can offer the family and individual supporter the knowledge that they are making a difference, no matter the size of the donation.
If I'm A Donor, What’s In It For Me?
Apart from the warm glowing feeling that you get from improving a complete stranger’s life and generally doing some good, getting involved makes you part of the Rescue on Everest family. As such, we’ll take care of you from this point forward as if you were one of our own.
We’ll have a team sending information back from the South Island of New Zealand, where testing of the Alpine Wasp will be taking place in 2007, and then from Nepal in 2008 so there will be regular updates, news, interviews and videos uploaded on the site. It’ll be ever changing and if you’re a donor, we’ll bring the news to you!
Just tick the box on the Donate Now form to receive our weekly newsletter, packed full of the latest news items, details of website changes and improvements, links to feature articles, interviews, pictures, videos and lots more. The newsletter means that you’ll be first to receive all our communications and a lot of the information you’ll be privy to will be under embargo for at least a week, sometimes more. It’s exclusive and just for you!
Getting involved saves you time from having to search through lots of pages for updated project info, provides you with a newsletter that’s informative, fun and most importantly, Ad-Free! The Trust does not sell email addresses or information about its supporters so we guarantee your privacy and confidentiality. You can also unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time.
As the project progresses we expect to introduce new features where your personalised login will enable you access to new exclusive content unavailable anywhere else.
