TGR Helicorp Ltd
Auckland-based TGR Helicorp has experienced exponential growth and is now at the forefront of helicopter design and manufacturing technology. Using ultra-modern composite materials (carbon fibre/Kevlar) and resin-infusion construction techniques, TGR Helicorp’s air frames and components provide unmatched structural integrity, strength and rigidity with power-to-weight ratios other metal-frame manufacturers can only dream about. The company's commitment to quality, safety and best-practice engineering procedures are second to none. TGR Helicorp is one of only two New Zealand companies licensed under the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to CAR146 (Delegation by the Director of CAA to Design Aircraft Parts and Components) and CAR148 (Delegation by the Director of CAA to Manufacture Aircraft Parts and Components).

TGR Helicorp is the only helicopter manufacturer in the Southern Hemisphere and enjoys international status with a Directorship of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International in Paris and Membership of American Unmanned Vehicle Systems International. TGR's president is also a Senior Engineering Member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Design innovation
TGR Helicorp’s in-house design expertise extends to engines, hydraulics, mechanicals, rotors, gearboxes and fully automated fly-by-wire electronics, including on-board “real time” systems diagnosis. Working in close association with United States engine manufacturer DeltaHawk, TGR Helicorp has developed parts for the world’s first supercharged/turbo charged, intercooled two-stroke vertically-mounted diesel engine. Producing more than 240 horsepower, the lightweight liquid-cooled piston engine has exceeded all operational expectations during testing. This new diesel engine technology has untold potential in aviation, particularly in Third World and developing countries where aviation fuel (Avgas) is often unobtainable. More importantly, diesel gives the TGR Helicorp fleet exceptional altitude, endurance and range.

Management and staff
TGR Helicorp Managing Director and Technical Director, Trevor Rogers, is a New Zealand entrepreneur with a track record of successful project development and management. A former Member of Parliament, Auckland City Councillor and Auckland Regional Authority Member, Trevor's contribution to public life spans more than 22 years. In TGR Helicorp, Trevor has created a dynamic and forward-thinking company that fosters and encourages design creativity at every level.

With the management skills and administrative support of Chief Executive Officer and wife of 42 years, Glenda Rogers, TGR Helicorp is well placed to become an international leader and reaffirm the company’s belief that Kiwis really can fly higher, further and faster than ever before.
