Welcome to the Rescue on Everest Challenge. An incredible journey begins right here. Join us as we embark on an international humanitarian project that will shatter the boundaries of helicopter rescue flight in and around the harshest alpine environment imaginable – Mt Everest. Sound interesting? It is - so sit back, buckle up and prepare to be moved.

The Challenge
Through innovation, design and technology, to challenge the science of aviation at extreme altitude and conquer new frontiers on Mt Everest and in Nepal.
Our Aims
In 1953, Sir Edmund Hillary & Sherpa Tenzing Norgay conquered the frontiers of human altitude endurance on Mt Everest. In 2008, we intend to overcome that endurance of altitude with flight, in the most hostile environment and altitudes, for the benefit of all people living in Nepal.
We will take an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to the limits of human endurance for the purposes of super-high altitude rescue. The funds generated by this project and the worldwide donations that it receives will be funneled back into Nepal to help provide a multitude of different benefits to the proud Nepalese people.
Our Mission
- To design, build and operate a self-funding rescue helicopter service for the high altitude regions of Nepal.
- The Challenge is a humanitarian project that aims to save lives on Everest and on Himalayan mountains and assist the safety and emergency services in Nepal, by raising the standard of the services, the training and lives of the people involved.
- We believe that with our innovation and breakthrough technology we can do this, and through this project we can make it known to the rest of the world that there are options at high altitude.
- This project will improve the attractiveness of visiting Nepal, strengthen the Nepalese people's ability to be more self-sufficient, create jobs and through the respectful relationship between related organisations and the Nepalese, upgrade the quality of life and work options of the Sherpas and other high altitude villagers.
- The success of this project will increase capability to do so many other things around the world. The potential for pushing the boundaries of long range, high altitude and sea level rescue is unlimited.
Projects that the Trust would like to start or assist with include:
- Better healthcare and schooling for the people of Nepal
- Setting up a frostbite centre to treat the people of Nepal who regularly lose fingers and toes because they are not properly equipped
- Ensuring that every working Nepalese person in the high altitude villages of Nepal is properly equipped with trekking footwear at the very least
We think that this is a worthy mission and we hope that you do too. So, if you think that you can help in any way, please contact us
